Gabbi Pascua is a two-time Emmy winner and five-time nominee. Former High-profile makeup artist (Vogue, Grammys, Oscars, major networks) now Co-Founder of ASOB Media, her media endeavor to redefine beauty narratives through authentic storytelling.

Beginning her career in 2010, Gabbi entered the beauty industry at the dawn of a digital renaissance that transformed creative fields and catapulted the beauty industry into a multibillion-dollar, influential platform. Inspired by this digital evolution and her unique backstage perspective working with Hollywood’s elite, Gabbi’s career has naturally shifted in a direction that is deeply authentic and her own.

In 2016, she launched an indie beauty brand, crafting products and a brand identity rooted in her personal vision of beauty. When the world paused during the pandemic, this venture evolved—allowing her to pivot from creating physical products to producing meaningful, long-form content. Since 2021, this development of her journey has led her to begin producing and co-directing independent documentaries internationally, uniting her love of beauty with powerful storytelling.

In 2022, Gabbi co-founded ASOB Media, an independent production company behind her debut documentary films.

Late 2022, Gabbi stepped back from makeup after 15 years in the beauty industry, her work as a makeup artist has been featured across major media outlets, television networks, and among a high-profile clientele in Los Angeles and New York City. As a former member of The Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists Guild of Hollywood, Gabbi was also appointed the Young Worker Chair in 2020 and fulfilled her duty until her last television project in 2022.

Gabbi is now a writer, producer and co-founder of ASOB Media, where she leads creative vision and narrative development across the company’s original content slate. Her transition into filmmaking marks a strategic evolution from below the line to above through narrative-building and producing her debut series.

As the creator and executive producer of her debut project, A Study on Beauty, Pascua has developed a documentary series that explores beauty as a cultural, emotional, and philosophical force—bridging wellness, identity, and global tradition into a media product.

Gabbi has also grew her career alongside philanthropy outlets. Since 2015 she was a founding Board Member of The Beyond Project, a national nonprofit dedicated to bringing beauty and wellness outreach to foster youth and emergency shelters for young adults. There she served the Los Angeles community as both an executive board member, LA Director and general volunteer until her resignation in 2026.

Service, always playing an integral role in her career, has and continues to influence all of her endeavors as it is the foundational pillar in all she creates.
